So many reasons why you shouldn't...but you only live once, right?

Very bad image, but the best that could be managed.

Original watercolour with hand blended pearl and gold on 150lb cold press paper. Measures 11x 15 in.

The pink remindes me of the pink panther. Sorry. It came on early this morning and I ended up watching it for about an hour. Sigh. They don't make cartoons like they used to.

Very beautiful :) I paticularly like flowers in this piece :) They seem so delicate, fragile...so easy to be smashed... I like the colours also. I'd like to have such painting hanging on my wall :D :D :D If you're going to paint like this all the time, i'd have to fav all your gallery :D :P :+fav:

Ok, I have watched this painting for a long time. I think so: You must decide. Do you want a picture lovely or reality! Kiss me anyway has no foreground flowers! I hope you can understand my bad English. And I hope you are not angry with me. :-)

Bravo Eriu....I have been reading everyones comments and no one got that the flowers were in fact not the focus except that they were in peril of being crushed. This is my idea of the risk one takes when putting yourself emotionally out there. Flowers offered, hint, and in a shy way...I painted them slightly out of foreground/focus to suggest this. I am so pleased you noticed. :boogie:

I am working on getting high res of these new paintings and once I have them I will be will to sell some of the originals and of course the prints. =D

Thank you for making this a fav. =D

Esther, great eye...the flowers are not in the foreground, they are being offered true, in afraid and in danger of being crushed, or perhaps they have been crushed before. I think they echo reality. It is still abstract, this painting, and begs to be interpretted.

Thank you for taking the time to really analyze my work. I could never be angry with you...=D

I love the stems, maneuvering their cargo cautiously around the remains of the others. Looks like one might get depserate and dash toward the sky in spite of the danger.

This piece really speaks to me. I'm going through a period where I've got a great deal to say to somebody... I think I'll go ahead and say it, friendships be damned, because it's beginning to torment me a little. Thank you.
This has the wonderfully all-encompassing, almost sloppy feeling of reckless passion throwing caution to the wind. I imagine it must be stunning in person with the gold and pearl. Beautiful!
