Artist's Comments

No one knows what became of the Entwives. They left in a dark time perhaps on the road west to Valinor.

Is Imagination dependent upon Experience, or is Experience influenced by the Imagination?
:iconkaiorton:
Thank you. I love this piece too. ;-) I do not have prints yet. Been meaning to set up an account here , but wanted to check out the options first. I will keep you posted if you like.

Thanks so much for the :+fav:. Very appreciated!

I'm just now getting around to faving this ^_^;;;.

This is a subject that many artists would have approached with more of a fanart objective, since it is inspired by a book (and now a movie). I like though, that this is a piece that stands very much on its own. That it can be read as both an illustration and a piece dealing with perspectives of feminism.
:iconkaiorton:
Thank you. You know all too well the raging feminist in me. I do think that there was irony in Tolkeins stories in the everlasting Ents being lost without the Entwives. Sure men can survive without women, but would they really be happy?

Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
